Gorge Scrambling great fun its about donning a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet and spending an awesome few hours with our instructors walking, scrambling, climbing, abseiling and leaping into plunge pools in stunning magical Sychryd & Mellte Gorge at Dinas Rock on the south edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
We can either meet you at the gorge (Dinas Rock) or transport your group from our centre at Symonds Yat West, we provide all you need apart from a swim suit (for under the wetsuit) and an old pair of trainers.
Gorge Scrambling is a fantastic group activity and our instructors have years of experience and know the gorges inside and out and can make sure your day out is not only as much fun as possible but also safe.
Gorge Scrambling, or Gorge Walking as it is sometimes called, is a great team building activity too and you can either have a half day or full day session or maybe have a really wild day out and combine canoeing, climbing or abseiling with gorging, we can even split your group if its really big and some can climb or abseil maybe the others can go gorging, we can make a day to suit your needs and a day of adventure you will never forget.
We always take quite a few pictures and these can be made available to the group after the activity.
If you are looking for a full weekend of adventure then why not try our Wild Wye Valley Weekend that involves a full day canoeing on probably the best stretch of river in UK, followed by the next day of gorge walking and climbing or caving with bunkhouse accommodation thrown in you are set for a great weekend.

Gorge walking is about the most fun you can have in a wetsuit, we always start out gently and work up to the larger challenges and all the jumps can be avoided for people with no head for heights, in our sessions you don’t have to do anything you are not comfortable with but our instructors are fantastic at getting the best out of you and with their vast knowledge you can rely on their expertise. During the session we will be taking pictures and video and we can supply this to you after your visit, you are welcome to bring your own cameras etc but at your own risk. We supply wetsuits to keep you warm and all other safety equipment, all you need is a swim suit and a pair of old trainers or similar (and a towel !).
