Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

Get a Price & Book Your Adventure

Between the months of March and December we run a range of paddle boarding sessions here in Symonds Yat West and all along the river Wye, if you have a group of friends staying in the Wye Valley you can either come to our awesome location in Symonds Yat West or we can come to you. You can either book onto one of our stand up Sunday sessions here at Symonds Yat West or get a group of friends (6-8) together and book a private session either here or or at a location of your choice. (For distances over 10 miles away from Symonds Yat West an extra transport fee could be charged).

We supply pretty much everything you need, boards, paddles, wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets etc. and of course one of our awesome instructors all you need to bring is a swimsuit for under your wetsuit and something for your feet like old trainers etc .(no flip flips or crocs please!)

SUP is a fast growing activity it started in Hawaii as an offshoot of surfing, instead of surfers sitting on their boards until they caught a wave stand-up paddle boards enabled surfers to paddle into the wave and already be standing with a paddle to help balance and control the board. SUP has grown massively and now incorporates such other activities as yoga which combined with the water and board is great fun. we have probably the best location on the river Wye for SUP as we have a lovely little beach right next to our access point here in Symonds Yat West.

We also offer a combination of paddle boarding and a range of other activities like gorge scrambling, why not spend a wet and wild day in neoprene and learn to board in the morning then we jump in a bus and whilst having lunch travel down to the stunning waterfall country at the southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park and spend the afternoon scrambling up a stunning gorge and jumping into plunge pools in south wales.

We also offer guided SUP expeditions, our local highly experienced and highly qualified guides will guide you though stunning scenery with maybe an overnight stop on route?.

If you are looking to maybe mix it up a little then why not combine Paddle Boarding with some Canoeing/Kayaking/Climbing/Gorging/Bushcraft etc... if you have any questions please call 01600 890027.
