A Fantastic Way to experience the Wye Valley All Year Round
A great All Year Round Activity, an action packed two day weekend option or a great fun day out for our full day option. See the area in all its glory at any time of the year, in summer the sun beats down as we cruise the river and trails and, in Autumn the amazing golds and reds of the changing treescapes along the river and in the forest. The river is shrouded in mist first thing in the morning as we launch, and as the mist clears the stunning scenery emerges and the sun breaks through, wildlife calls as you paddle your way through the gorge and onto Symonds Yat for lunch at the Ferrie Inn, then our weekend option then takes you on through the grade 2 rapids in the afternoon and into Wales. During the canoe trip you are accompanied by experienced guides, to help identify wildlife, answer questions about the environment, and of course deal with any safety issues. Then on day 2 you hit the trails with your local guide. If you are only here for the day then after lunch we are off to explore the hidden local trails, local areas that only our expert guides and that are not open to the public. Be assured of a great time whether it’s the day or the weekend option!
