A fantastic day of full-on watery experiences, and an awesome option for stag and hen days. You will meet your instructor for the day at Symonds Yat West at 9 am for a welcome and run through of what is going to be happening and it's time to get the wetsuits on, we supply everything you need except a swimming costume for under the wetsuit, an old pair of trainers (that you don't mind getting wet!) and your packed lunch (for on the way to the gorge at midday).
We have a great site for paddleboarding with a nice gentle beach to get you over those few initial wobbles and it won't be long before we have you standing up and starting to gain some confidence. The session in the morning is approximately 2 hours which is enough to build up a good appetite so it's into the minibus and it's off to the southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park to waterfall country and the stunning Sychryd and Mellte Gorges for an awesome afternoon of what is commonly known as Gorge Scrambling or Gorge Walking, we will be climbing rocks, jumping into plunge pools and taking on waterfalls, it's awesome fun and certainly something you won't forget in a hurry so ideal for stag and hen days or just a fantastic day out with friends and family.
