The customer/client assumes complete responsibility for loss of or damage to their personal equipment/belongings.

50% Deposit is non-refundable.
If a cancellation is made by the customer within 14 days of the event start, full payment will be charged. Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver trips, Wye Adventures Ltd reserves the right to cancel or modify the trips due to safety considerations and factors beyond our control.
The Company will not be liable for any death, personal injury, or loss of or damage to goods arising out of the delivery of an activity, unless that death, personal injury or loss of, or damage to the goods arises directly from a negligent act or default on the part of the Company.
FEES
Unless otherwise agreed full payment should be made 14 days before Activity Commencement Date. Any outstanding fees must be paid in full before activity commences. (Card or Cash payments only - Cheques are not accepted as final payment)
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
All Wye Adventures Courses, Activities and Programmes are run by appropriately qualified staff. Guide / Instructor (s) to person(s) ratios are in accordance with NGB guidelines. Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver activities, Wye Adventures Ltd reserves the right to cancel or modify the activities due to safety considerations and factors beyond our control.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
- Canoeing/kayaking/climbing etc and other activities Wye Adventures offers are potentially dangerous. All participants must be aware of this and accept the risks associated with these activities. Whilst Wye Adventures has an excellent safety record responsibility for injury or illness arising from canoeing/kayaking or other activities can only be accepted if caused by negligence on the part of Wye Adventures Ltd its servants or agents.
- Wye Adventures Ltd is under no liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to property, however caused, whilst on a trip/activity/programme organised / Wye Adventures.
- Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance cover. Wye Adventures Ltd is unable to offer any form of insurance cover (other than public liability).
HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
- Due to the nature of our activities anyone with a medical condition must seek medical advice before considering participating, and is it their responsibility to report any medical condition or injury to us that could preclude them from safe participation in said activity.
- All participants should ideally be able to swim 25m and be confident swimming in open water, if this is not the case then please inform us prior to your trip.
- Minimum age 4 years.
- Trip participants will not be permitted to consume alcohol or drugs prior to or during their trip. Wye Adventures Ltd reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Wye Adventures Staff may require any participant to leave the trip if that person acts in any such manner as to endanger him/herself or any other person.
DISABILITIES/MEDICAL CONDITIONS
- Disabled persons are welcome to participate in certain river trips (not all trips will be available due to river access – egress points). Please send details of your specific needs to Wye Adventures, prior to your booking, in order to ascertain what trips are suitable.
- Wye Adventures must be informed of any medical conditions (asthma, epilepsy, deafness etc) or any other special needs of any/all participants.
EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING
- Participants on kayak & canoe trips must provide their own clothing, unless otherwise specified/arranged. All clothing must be suitable and will be checked by the Guide / Instructor(s).
- Damage or loss to Wye Adventures equipment caused by negligence, malicious acts or carelessness must be paid for at the time at current replacement value.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
- A booking is only accepted upon receipt of a completed and signed booking form with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Payments can be made by credit or debit card, cheques must clear before booking is confirmed. (Cheques are to be made to Wye Adventures Ltd)
- Anyone booking for a group must enclose individual signed booking forms for each participant and return them together to Wye Adventures Ltd, any under 18’s must be signed for by Parent or Guardian.
- Balance of Payment must be received 14 days prior to the day of your trip, unless otherwise agreed.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS
50% Deposit is non-refundable. Should you cancel your booking for any reason less than 14 days before your activity commences, full payment is due if not already made. Cancellation made more than 14 days before commencement will receive a refund of 50% of booking fee, if fully paid only.
Wye Adventures Ltd will often take pictures and/or video of your trip to use on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Newsletter or Blog pages.
